z11 communications is helping with logistics to plan the annual Gala for Saving Little Hearts, a nonprofit organization that serves children born with heart defects. If you haven’t heard of the organization before, I would like to encourage you to visit and take a moment to find out about some of the important services they offer.

The annual Gala is the premier fundraiser for the organization, and typically brings in 30% of the annual operating budget.

Saving Little Hearts needs your support to make this a successful event. Please consider purchasing an ad in the Gala program, being an event or table sponsor, or donating items for the auction. No item is too large or too small! Your donation is tax deductible to the extent allowed by law, and you will receive written documentation of your donation for tax purposes.

Funds raised from this very important event support all of our core services, which include:
• support groups in 6 Tennessee cities
• providing more than 1000 surgery care packages annually to children undergoing open heart surgery across the country
• a summer heart camp specifically for children with congenital heart defects
maintaining a very popular website with resources for families enduring this very difficult defect

Congenital heart defects affect one in every 125 children making it the most common birth defect and the leading cause of death in infants. This disease is far reaching and all too common. Saving Little Hearts is doing all that it can to help these families.

Saving Little Hearts receives no government funding. The organization is 100% funded by private companies and individuals like you. Please consider a tax deductible contribution today.

If you can donate items for the auction, if you’d like to purchase tickets to the event or if you just have a question, please contact Karin Coulter at (865) 748-4605 or email

Thank you for supporting this worthy cause.
