McCamy Construction Hires Hunter Purnell to Oversee Growth in Residential and Light Commercial Construction

Knoxville, Tenn, March 7, 2011 — Achieving growth despite the nation’s construction slowdown, McCamy Properties is relaunching as McCamy Construction and adding Hunter Purnell to direct operations for new and existing clients.

Hunter Purnell joined the company as Vice President. According to Chief Manager, Sam McCamy. “We’ve identified several growth areas for McCamy Construction, and Hunter will focus on growing client relationships in these areas as well as overseeing construction projects,” he said, “as he joins us on March 1, he’ll be directly overseeing several projects.”

Hunter Purnell was previously a Principal, Managing Partner, and Contractor with Holrob Residential, LLC. In that role he coordinated and supervised the construction site from early development to final product while also managing day-to-day business operations including sales, marketing, and estimating. In his 7 years of industry experience, Hunter has also served as an apprentice with Ben Testerman Construction Company. He received a bachelor’s degree in Logistics and Transportation from the University of Tennessee and is a licensed Tennessee Residential and Light Commercial Contractor.

Mack Fraser, Jr., previously with McCamy Properties will stay on with McCamy Construction as Design Director.

Founded in 2008, McCamy Properties has a proven track record with residential and light commercial construction.
