Zane is heavily involved in the community, with a goal of putting 25% of company resources back into supporting the community. Current board and pro bono activities include:
* Serving as Board Chair for Saving Little Hearts
* Serving on the boards of the Advertising Federation of Knoxville and Entrepreneurs of Knoxville
* Serving on the steering committee for the Knoxville Social Media Association
* Supporting health initiatives through the founding of Roadkill Running Club and the Smoky Mountain Left Turn Marathon
* Providing support to Keep Anderson County Beautiful and Earth Day Anderson County

Zane is also a recent graduate of Leadership Knoxville, Past President of the American Marketing Association, and the co-founder and co-director of the Inaugural Knoxville Marathon.
